A Note From The Editor
Hello Everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.  I am sure that many of you ventured out on Black Friday.  I myself choose to wait for Small Business Saturday.
Monte and I have challenged each other that this Christmas we will only purchase our gifts from local small businesses  and artisans.  I really don’t think this is much of a challenge, since we have an abundance of great local shops and boutiques.
I would love to throw that challenge out to you as well.  Here is what can make this challenge more interesting.  Buy “Made In America” products. This is much more of a challenge indeed.  But I truly feel it is a challenge worth taking on.
Enjoy your holiday shopping and remember to smile at those standing in line next to you in the check out line.  It may just be what they needed.

Diaper Drive

Great cause… help our local babies be comfortable and healthy through this diaper drive.  Jesse Sheldon, our local teenage leader launched the  non-profit, Inland Northwest Baby because he read an article in Time Magazine about a young mother who washed disposable diapers and reused them on her baby because she could not afford to purchase new ones.
There is a phenomenal impact in our community that Inland NWbaby is fulfilling and The Heart Of Spokane is helping to make that happen. The Heart of Spokane is having a diaper drive for Inland NWbaby, that kicks off Saturday, December 3rd, at there Grand Opening located at 2910 North Monroe, Spokane.
Corner Cottage is another drop off location for the Diaper Drive.  located at: 5210 N. Market ~ Spokane

Approved And On Their Way
It has been a busy couple of weeks. I am proud to announce that the Spokane Grapevine Discount Cards are on their way to consumers in Spokane.

It has been a fun process and we are excited for the possibilities that abound for the local charities. In little more than three weeks we have over 80 merchants signed up and three charities on board to sell the cards for fund raisers. The merchants are coming in at a rate of 2-5 a day and there doesn’t seem to be any end in sight!

If you would like more information on how to participate,
 please call Monte at             509-999-7810
