Santa Claus is coming to town! Old Saint Nick will be trading in his reindeer and sleigh for a bus, and touring the country visiting participating Macy’s stores as part of the holiday Believe Campaign. Santa kicks off his west coast tour and will be making an appearance in Spokane, WA. Children, young and old, are encouraged to join the festivities and spend the afternoon with him. Special activities include: face painting, a balloon artist, hot cocoa and a story read by Santa himself. Per holiday tradition, children are encouraged to write a letter to Santa entailing what they wish for this holiday season and deposit it into the specially marked Believe mailboxes located inside all Macy’s stores. For each letter received, Macy’s will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, up to $1 million. 

Celebrating 25 years of granting wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Alaska & Washington has brought hope, strength and joy to more than 4,600 local children through its wish granting process. This year, the local chapter will grant nearly 300 wishes.
