Cuppa Joe’s Cafe located at 213 S. University Rd. in Spokane Valley has always been one of my favorite cafes. Unlike other coffee shops, dimly lit and confined, Joe’s has a layout that gives each table their own space, you honestly don’t notice the other diners around you. And the atmosphere is perky and pleasant with lots of light. Joe’s is the perfect location for a mid afternoon social. The menu is stellar, much more than the traditional cafe items; the best of breakfast lunch and a few heartier options for later. Everything is homemade, fresh and delicious. The signature Continental Breakfast is a muffin, fresh fruit and a cup of coffee in the mug of your choice, I have taken a liking to the Batman mug. There is much to be said about the Triple Berry Waffle topped with fresh fruit, never frozen, and lots of whip cream.
