Welcome to our first in a series of guest blog posts from some of the most well known Bloggers in the Spokane area. Our first contribution in the series is from Jennifer Walker of Unexpected Necessities fame. Be sure to check out her blog and Unexpected Necessities can also be found on facebook.

If anyone out there has not been to Chaps yet, then I must say get yourself on over there to experience the loveliness of it all. Celeste Shaw, the owner, will welcome one and all with open arms and heart. The cozy and inviting atmosphere will make you want to linger over lunch on into the afternoon. The décor is over the top and out of this world extraordinaire. Kind of like uptown girl meets junk/salvage girl and they bring it all together and Chaps was created. I could live in this place, seriously it really could be my home, I love it that much!!  The main reason to go to Chaps is the food, of course, and like the décor, is out of this world delicious. Just listen to this, Blueberry Muffin French Toast, can’t you taste it melting in your mouth? It is delightful to say the least, and is my favorite at the moment. You can’t forget Cake for all your dessert needs. Yes, dessert is a need especially when there is the most delicious three chocolate mousse, Tiramisu, carrot cake, pies and tarts!
With the holidays coming and all the shopping to be done (oh, my!) now would be the perfect time to visit Chaps and feast upon some of their yummy goodness while you rest your weary little feet.
